A Finish for April

My first scarf for 2013. I love making these through winter. Love the rhythm of the knitting. I love the colours. I really enjoy knitting - taught by my mother before I started school, but ive never been a great knitter, so have usually stuck to simpler patterns such as scarves, rugs, etc. Since I've found these scarves, I've knitted quite a few.

My almost teenage daughter has already claimed this one.

Tonight I'm working on stitching this BoM from Quilt Fabric Delights - "Twas the night before Christmas". Its been a fun project to work on.

Apart from this, these school holidays have been spent card making and scrap booking.

Cheers

Two more scarves

I finished these two scarves this week. The blue one is knitted. The variegated purple one is sewn - using a collection of different types of yarn. It was lots of fun to do.

Opam finishes for May

Not a lot to report - really wondering where May went. I have knitted 3 more scarves. I have almost finished a table runner. As I said, not a lot. Hopefully this weekend will see me getting some photos taken. The other completion for May was reading "Sonoma Rose" the latest novel by Jennifer Chiaverini. It was a follow on story from the earlier book "The Quilter's Homecoming". A good read. Looking forward to her next one in October.

Another Scarf

These are so much fun to make - love the variety of patterns, textures and colours. They are also quick - absolute bonus! Lovely to wear. This is my latest.
